1. About feature

The account creation feature in VisionSync allows users to create an account for their organization to do the strategic planning and its execution.

2. Screen explanation

The “Create Account” screen contains the following elements.

a. Work Email: This field requires the work email ID of the user wanting to onboard the organization onto to VisionSync tool

b. Password: This field requires a strong password to complete the account creation. The strong password criteria is - a minimum of 1 uppercase letter, a minimum of 1 lowercase letter, 1 special character, and a minimum of 8 characters.

c. Create Account Button: This button allows users to save the form and initiate the organization onboarding process.

d. Sign In Button: This button allows users to sign in to the VisionSync account of their organization if they are already registered.

3. How to perform this feature/functionality?

a. Access the VisionSync by clicking the signup URL

b. If you don’t already have an account on VisionSync, click on the create account link on the login page.

c. Enter your work email address and a secure strong password on the registration page.

d. Click “Create Account” to submit your registration.

e. An email containing the verification link will be sent to the registered work email address.

f. Click on the verification link in the email to activate your account.

g. Once your account is activated, you can log in to VisionSync using your email address and password.

4. Expected Result

A verification email should be sent to the user on a registered work email address. Once a user clicks on the verification link provided in the email, the user should be verified and should be able to log in successfully.

5. Dependency or Restriction

a. Users can only create accounts from an organization email. Personal emails are restricted and are not allowed. Example - gmail.com, yahoo.com, reddifmail.com, outllook.com, etc.

b. Users will not be able to create an account for the organization if it already exists in VisionSync. In that case, user can access the platform by requesting their organization administrators or login using the SSO if is activated for the organization in VisionSync
