🖥️Navigation and Basic Screen Skeleton Explanation (profile, notification, change password)

Once you have logged in, you will be redirected to the VisionSync dashboard. The basic skeleton of the page consists of two main sections: a Left-Side Navigation Bar and a Top Bar at the upper portion of every page. The center area dynamically displays the content of the screen you are currently viewing.

Left-Side Navigation Bar

The left-side navigation bar contains the primary navigation buttons that allow users to move across major modules of the platform. These options include:

• Home

• Organization

• Plan

• User

• Report

• Settings

Selecting Settings opens an extended settings panel on the left. This panel contains multiple links grouped under collapsible sub-headings, enabling users to quickly explore various configuration areas. Each category expands into an accordion-style menu, such as Workspace, Strategic Plan Settings, Organization Settings, Personal Account, and Developer Settings.

At the bottom of the sidebar:

• The bulb icon takes users to the release documentation, where they can view product updates.

• The book icon leads to the complete software documentation (the same documentation you are currently reading).

Top Bar

Each page contains a top bar consisting of a page heading on the left and quick-access buttons on the right.

The right side of the top bar contains:

• My Workspace

• Launch Tour

• Notifications

• Profile Menu

My Workspace

The My Workspace button provides quick access to your work-related items and activity. It contains the following links:

• Invitations: View and respond to invitations.

• Watchlists: Track strategic items marked as important or requiring follow-up.

Launch Tour

This button activates a step-by-step guided product tour for the specific page you are currently on. It helps users understand available features and navigate efficiently. Users can move through the tour at their own speed using the Next button, skip individual steps, or exit anytime using the Close button for independent exploration.

Notifications

This icon displays all in-app notifications, allowing users to stay updated on relevant actions and events.

Profile Menu

Clicking the profile icon opens a menu that contains:

• Profile Settings

• Change Password

• Sign Out

This menu also displays the logged-in account details and is accessible from anywhere in the application.

Middle Section

The center area of the screen dynamically updates based on the navigation item you select from the left-side menu. It displays the corresponding tools, forms, dashboards, or data views relevant to your chosen module.
