Add Strategic Plan Elements Based on Strategic Framework
1. About feature
This feature allows users to add various components or elements to a strategic plan such as goals, strategies, etc. Adding content for the different strategic framework levels in a strategic plan for an organization entity would start the building process of the strategic plan.
2. Screen explanation
The “Add Strategic Framework Level” form contains the following elements.
a. Add Strategic Framework Level Content: On the overall strategic plan screen, you will see the “Add” button for each strategic framework level.
For example - Let’s say a strategic framework has two levels - goal and strategy.
In Hierarchy View, you will see two Add buttons - Add Goals and Add Strategy. Each button will allow the user to add the element on that level of the strategic framework for the organization entity. When you click on the Add buttons you will see a form to add the content of the strategic framework level.
In Board View, you will see Add button in each column in the top right. When you click on the Add buttons you will see a form to add the content of the strategic framework level.
In Table View, there is a common Add button in the bottom left corner of the screen. The strategic level tabs can be switched to add the content of the strategic framework level.
The strategic framework level add form has several fields as described below -
b. Strategic Framework Level Title (Required): This field requires the title of the strategic plan element (Goal, Strategy)
c. Description Field (Required): This field requires the description of the strategic plan element (Goal, Strategy)
d. Visibility (Required): This is to set the visibility of the strategic plan element (Goal, Strategy). Private means it will only be visible to you and the members with permission to view private elements in the strategic plan. Public means that all users will be able to view that element.
e. Cascade (Required): This is to enable or disable the cascade. Enabling cascade means that the strategic plan element (Goal, Strategy) will be cascaded down to all the organization entities that are part of the hierarchy below it and assigned to a particular strategic plan.
f. Back Button: This button allows the user to go back to the previous page.
g. Save & Submit Button: This button allows users to save the content for the strategic plan element.
