Remove Labels and Sub Labels

1. About feature

Removing labels from a plan allows you to remove any unnecessary or irrelevant labels that were added to the plan. This feature helps you to keep your strategic plan organized and avoid confusion.

2. Screen explanation

The “Labels” window contains the following elements.

a. Label List: This section displays the labels and sub-labels that have been created in the strategic plan. Each label has one or more sub-labels and the option to edit or remove the label. There is a required checkbox on labels that makes it mandatory for the users creating a strategic action item (initiative) to select a sub-label from that group.

b. Label Name (Required): This field requires the name of the label.

c. Add Label Button: This button allows users to add new labels to the strategic plan.

d. Required Checkbox: This checkbox is used to specify whether the label is required or optional while creating a strategic action item (Initiative).

e. Sub-labels Field: This field is used to define the sub-labels in the label.

f. Back Button: This button allows the user to go back to the previous page.

g. Save & Submit Button: This button allows the user to save the labels and sub-labels in the strategic plan

3. How to perform this feature/functionality?

a. Log in to your VisionSync account using your credentials.

b. From the Top-Navigation Bar, select "Strategic Plan".

c. The Strategic Plan screen will open, displaying a list of all the strategic plans created within your organization.

d. To view labels against a strategic plan, click on “Label” from the menu dropdown against the plan.

e. A list of labels that have been created in the plan will be displayed in the Label window.

f. To remove a label, click on the “Remove” button against it.

g. A confirmation window will appear, asking you to confirm the removal of the label. Click on "Agree" to proceed.

h. Click on “Save & Submit” to save the changes.

4. Expected Result

Once you have followed the above steps, the selected label will be removed from the strategic plan, and it will no longer be associated with any strategic action item (initiative) in the strategic plan.

5. Dependency or Restriction

a. The labels option will only be visible to administrators and whosoever has the permission to add/edit the labels for the strategic plan.

b. Once you delete the label and sub label, all of its associated strategic plans will also be removed.
